You might be like I was, commuting several hours a day and becoming bored with my listening options. Someone shared with me a multi level marketing business plan. While I thought the products were great, I really liked the cassette tapes that were provided (for a small fee) to keep me motivated. I did not become an "Multi-Level" millionaire, though many have, but I was transformed into a junkie for listening to good material while driving and becoming a life long learner.

Over the years I keep listening, learning and loving my drive time. I started with cassette tape, moved to CDs, and today there are a plethora of options from on demand books to podcasts. And the great new is most are FREE! (My dad always said to use OPM "Other Peoples Money" when I can) Yes you heard that correct, in the early days of my education, I purchased a lot of the material so there was a tuition cost so to speak - but now most of the listening is FREE. In future posts I will share some of my favorite "Professors" locations.

I am not original in calling my vehicle a University on Wheels - Zig Ziglar was the first person I remember hearing on a cassette tape using this term. Earl Nightingale also mentioned it, I think the name of the program was "Lead The Field". I became a believer! I think they referred to it as a University because of the vast amount of knowledge you can pick up. I like to think about it as a University because of the variety of subjects you can learn about.

Until Next Time - Listen & Learn!
